Ladle cover insulation construction
1. Construction Preparation
Before installing the ladle cover insulation, the professional team needs to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the structure, size and working environment of the ladle cover to ensure that the selected insulation materials can adapt to the high temperature, heavy load and frequent opening and closing working environment. Common insulation materials include aluminum silicate fiber, rock wool board, ceramic fiber blanket , etc. These materials have good high temperature resistance, low thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical strength. At the same time, prepare the tools and equipment required for construction, such as cutting machines, hot air guns, insulation nail guns, sealant guns, measuring tools and hoisting equipment, etc., and check whether personal protective equipment is complete and effective.
2. Design and production of insulation layer
Insulation layer design : According to the shape, size and working environment of the ladle cover, a reasonable insulation layer structure and thickness are designed to ensure the best insulation effect. At the same time, the durability and maintainability of the insulation layer are considered to facilitate subsequent use and replacement.
Insulation material cutting and assembly : According to the design drawings, use a cutting machine to cut the insulation material into suitable shapes and sizes. For large ladle covers, the insulation material can be divided into multiple small pieces for easy installation and fixing. During the assembly process, ensure that the insulation layers fit tightly and without gaps.
3.Insulation layer installation
Basic treatment : Thoroughly clean the surface of the ladle cover to remove oil, rust and loose materials, and ensure that the insulation material can fit tightly to the surface of the ladle cover.
Laying and fixing the insulation layer : Lay the cut insulation materials layer by layer on the surface of the ladle cover, and fix them with insulation nails and high-temperature resistant glue. During the laying process, pay attention to the staggered overlap between each layer to reduce the thermal bridge effect and improve the insulation effect. For the edges and gaps of the ladle cover, use sealant or high-temperature resistant tape to seal to prevent heat leakage.
Treatment of special parts : Special reinforcement treatment is carried out on the hinges, locks and other vulnerable parts of the ladle cover to ensure that the insulation layer will not be damaged due to frequent opening and closing.
4. Construction Completion and Inspection
Appearance inspection : After the insulation layer is installed, conduct an appearance inspection to ensure that the surface is flat, undamaged, and uniform in color. Repair any problems found in a timely manner.
Quality acceptance : Invite relevant personnel to conduct quality acceptance and record relevant data to ensure that the thickness, density and installation quality of the insulation layer meet the design requirements. At the same time, the fire resistance of the insulation material is tested to ensure that it meets safety requirements.
Safety protection : According to customer needs, a metal protective layer or protective net can be installed outside the insulation layer to improve the durability and safety of the insulation layer. At the same time, safety warning signs are set to remind operators to pay attention to safety.
Site cleaning : After the construction is completed, clean up the site in time, remove excess insulation materials and construction tools, and keep the environment clean.
