Heating furnace insulation
1. Preliminary preparation
Site assessment and planning : First, conduct a comprehensive assessment of the heating furnace site to understand its structural characteristics, operating environment, and insulation requirements. Based on the assessment results, develop a detailed insulation construction plan and a list of required materials.
Material procurement and preparation : According to the construction plan, purchase an appropriate amount of insulation materials, such as ceramic fiber blankets , aluminum silicate fiber wool, rock wool boards, etc., as well as necessary construction tools, fixings (such as anchors, metal mesh), adhesives and sealing materials.
Implementation of safety measures : Ensure that safety protection measures are in place at the construction site, including wearing personal protective equipment, setting up safety warning signs, ensuring good ventilation and lighting in the construction area, and formulating emergency response plans.
2. Insulation layer construction
Basic treatment : Thoroughly clean the inner wall of the heating furnace to remove oil, dust and rust, and ensure that the insulation material can fit tightly.
Insulation material laying :
Ceramic fiber blanket /aluminum silicate fiber cotton : Use special adhesive or mechanical fixing method to evenly lay it on the inner wall of the heating furnace to ensure there are no gaps and wrinkles.
Rockwool board : For specific areas, rockwool board is used for insulation, which also needs to ensure a tight fit and is reinforced with special fixings.
Sealing of gaps and interfaces : Use high-temperature resistant sealing materials to seal the gaps and interfaces between the insulation layers to prevent heat leakage.
Multi-layer insulation structure construction : According to the design requirements, it may be necessary to construct a multi-layer insulation structure. Each layer must be tightly fitted and appropriate fixing and sealing measures must be taken.
3. Special parts treatment
Furnace door and observation window : Pay special attention to the continuity and sealing of the insulation layer at the furnace door, and use special insulation materials and sealing devices to wrap and seal it. The observation window needs to use transparent high-temperature resistant materials and ensure its sealing.
Pipes and valves : The pipes, valves and other accessories of the heating furnace also need to be insulated, wrapped with special insulation materials, and fixed and sealed with sealing materials.
4. Construction Completion and Quality Inspection
Site cleaning : After the construction is completed, clean the construction site thoroughly and remove excess insulation materials, construction tools and other debris.
Quality inspection : Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the construction quality of the insulation layer, including the laying of insulation materials, gap treatment, overall structural stability, etc. Ensure that the insulation layer is not damaged or has no gaps and meets the design requirements.
Acceptance and record keeping : Invite relevant personnel to conduct acceptance to ensure that the construction quality of the insulation layer meets the standards. At the same time, keep good construction records, including the type, quantity, installation location and other information of the insulation materials, for subsequent maintenance and repair.
